Why Should I Try Classes?

Question?
  • 1 on 1 sessions too personal for you? Perhaps you need a bit of push from others to keep studying? Well, there are "quarterly" classes in offer! These classes run seasonally for the level of Korean that I teach. The levels are:

-Beginner

-Beginner2

-Intermediate

-Intermediate2

  • These classes run on Canvas, which is a learning website for both students and instructors. From there, materials such as the class syllabus, homework, assignments, projects and exams are handed out while live class sessions are conducted through Discord Live (Stage) meetings. If you want a more organized setting and a class schedule to follow, then these classes are for you.

What Should I Know About This Course Before I Begin?

Ideas!

  • There can only be a maximum of 25 people per class. If there are already 25 people registered, you will be waitlisted. There will also be a "waitlist" notice next to the course name on the registration form to notify students whether or not the class is full. Please either choose a different class with a different time, or, wait patiently to hear news about seat openings. Registrations are a first-come, first-served basis.

  • You may choose to register in any level you desire. As a suggestion from the me, please take a look at each class's syllabus here! It will summarize what specific classes will cover throughout the quarter, and so it will be a helpful tool to see if a class fits your level or not. (First week of the quarter allows you to switch between classes, assuming the class you are switching to has open seats.)

How Much Does Each Class Cost?

Costs
  • Each quarter you take is 300 USD per quarter no matter what level of Korean you decide to take.

  • Tuition payment must be done on the first week of the quarter on Fridays. Any late payments that aren't informed ahead of time will result in a removal from the class you are registered in.

  • Again, as a reminder, you may choose to switch class level in the first week if you find it too easy or too difficult, assuming the class you are switching to has seat openings.
